Alexandra Shipp has been a well-known actress over the years. She was born in Phoenix Arizona in the United States on the 16th of July, 1991. She appeared as Victoria Justice's guest on Victorious, in 2012. Shipp had her first acting performance as a kid as a child in Alvin and the Chipmunks The Squeakquel which was released in the year 2009. After that, she became KT as the lead character in Nickelodeon's teen thriller series House of Anubis' third season. The year 2014 was the year that Shipp gained attention for her performances in the role of Dani Raymond in the VH1 television sequel Drumline: A New Beat as well as Aaliyah Haughton, who played the title character in the Lifetime TV film Aaliyah: the Princess of R&B. Shipp sang the track as her final performance. Next, she played Ice Cube's spouse Kimberly Woodruff on the biographical film Straight Outta Compton that chronicled N.W.A's career. In 2016, she was a part-time actress in Bryan Singer's film about superheroes X-Men: Apocalypse with Halle Berry in the role of Ororo Storm, a mutant who controls climate change.
